Not financial or legal advice

Mundevo is an editorial research tool, not a regulated financial advisor or a tax preparer. The salary figures, cost indices, and corridor reports on this site are directional estimates — they are meant to help you frame a relocation question, not to be the sole input to a contract negotiation or a tax-residency decision.

Before you accept a job offer in a new country, sign a lease, or commit to a move, validate every individual number against a local source: rent against a current listing site, salary against a local payroll calculator, taxes against the destination country's revenue agency. For anything material, consult a professional licensed in the relevant jurisdiction.

Data may be wrong or outdated

The dataset behind Mundevo is reviewed quarterly. Between reviews, real-world conditions can change — currencies devalue, governments revise tax brackets, rents spike. Each city page surfaces its own dataAsOf date so you can judge how fresh the underlying inputs are.

4 cities (Mexico City, Buenos Aires, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur) carry AI-estimated data with an explicit disclaimer in every methodology block they appear in. Those figures should be treated as ±15–25% estimates. See Methodology for the full disclosure.

If you spot a number that's clearly wrong for a city you know well, email mundevocom@gmail.com and it'll be corrected in the next review cycle.

Use of AI on this site

Parts of the editorial commentary on this site — the "Analyst take" block on city, comparison and salary pages — are generated by an AI language model from the structured data on the page, then cached so the same inputs produce the same prose. The AI-estimated figures for the four cities named above are likewise model output rather than measurement.

We state this because Article 50 of the EU AI Act (Regulation 2024/1689), applicable since 2 August 2026, requires that artificially generated text published to inform the public be disclosed as such. All such content is published under the editorial responsibility of the site operator named above, who reviews the templates and the data the prose is derived from and remains accountable for what appears here.

Advertising and affiliate disclosure

Mundevo earns referral commissions from some of the partners surfaced on city pages — currently Wise, SafetyWing, Holafly, NordVPN and NordPass. When you click through and sign up, the partner pays Mundevo a fee at no additional cost to you. Display advertising is served by Google AdSense. Advertising and affiliate placements are labelled and visually separated from editorial content, as Article 20 LSSI-CE requires commercial communications to be clearly identifiable as such.

Commissions do not influence editorial commentary. Partner selection per page is driven by an algorithm that matches partner specialty (FX, multi-currency banking, insurance, eSIM, privacy tools) to page intent — for example, an expat-health-insurance recommendation shows up on a relocation corridor regardless of whether SafetyWing or a future competitor pays more per referral.

Mundevo is not a party to any contract you enter into with a partner, does not act as their agent, and takes no responsibility for their products, pricing, or service. Any dispute over a product you bought through a referral link is between you and that provider.

Limits of liability

Mundevo is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Mundevo and its operators are not liable for decisions made in reliance on the content of this site, including financial losses arising from a relocation that turned out differently than the figures suggested. You use this site at your own risk.

We also do not warrant that the site will be available without interruption or free of errors, and we are not responsible for the content of third-party sites reachable from links here.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — in particular liability for death or personal injury, for fraud or wilful misconduct, or any liability towards consumers that Spanish consumer law (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007) declares non-waivable. Where a clause here would be void against a consumer, it is treated as not written and the rest of these terms stand.

Content, reuse, and text/data mining

The text, page design, methodology, and compiled dataset on this site belong to the site operator, except where a page credits an external source. Underlying third-party data remains subject to the licence of whoever published it — see Sources.

You're welcome to share Mundevo URLs, quote individual numbers with attribution, and reference the methodology in your own analysis. Scraping the full dataset for redistribution, automated re-publishing, or training a competing system requires written permission — email mundevocom@gmail.com.

The operator expressly reserves the right of text and data mining under Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790, including for the training of AI models. This reservation applies to all content on this domain and is not waived by the fact that pages are publicly reachable or crawlable.

Acceptable use

Don't use the site in a way that damages it or degrades it for others: no attempts to bypass access controls, no automated request volumes that burden the infrastructure, no injecting malicious code, and no use of the site for anything unlawful. We may block access where these limits are ignored.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are acting as a consumer, nothing here deprives you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you are habitually resident, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of that country. If you are acting as a business, the courts of the operator's domicile in Spain have exclusive jurisdiction.

Consumers in the EU may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution channels; in practice, emailing mundevocom@gmail.com is faster, and we try to resolve complaints directly.
